Power Plays in the Book of Esther

This course provides the opportunity to take a deeper look at the Book of Esther and uncover lessons that apply to Jewish life in 2025. The story is all about power and how it is wielded in biblical times. During this 3 week course we will look at both Vashti and Esther and how they related to the men in power. We will discuss the many lessons that come from this story; what has changed and what has stayed the same. After this course you will be ready for Purim and you will definitely celebrate with a new perspective!
